Sandy Hook Promise’s Start With Hello Week is a nationwide effort to help kids feel more connected and support each other’s mental health by making new friends and creating a sense of belonging.

9/15 - Meet-N-Greet Monday: Students meet someone new and use a personalized "Hello Style" to encourage conversation.

9/16 - Tuesday Aloha Day: In the aloha spirit students can wear Hawaiian attire or leis while saying "hello" or "aloha".

9/17 - Wear Green: A day to wear green to symbolize unity and inclusivity.

9/18 - We Are The World Day: Students learn to say "hello" in different languages to greet others.
- 9/19 - What We Like Day: Students can wear t-shirts showing their interests and start conversations about them with others.
