Only children attending Superior can participate in any of the programs listed below.

 

Beyond the Bell Youth Services (YS): After-school care

Free of charge. Second through fifth grades ONLY. Transitional Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and First Graders are NOT allowed in this program. They may NOT stay on the playground with their older siblings. NO EXCEPTIONS PER LAUSD POLICY. The hours are from dismissal until 6:00 P.M. Pick up a permission form in the main office.

Keep Youth Doing Something (KYDS): After-school care

Free of charge. This program is open to students of all grade levels and requires students to remain in the program until at least 5:00 pm. Pick up a permission form in the main office. Website: https://www.kydsinc.org/

YMCA (An outside provider on campus) in Room 25: Before and after-school care

YMCA offers before and after-school supervision for Universal Transitional Kindergarten through fifth grade (minimum age is 4 years, 9 months) at a cost. During the school year, they can be contacted directly to inquire about the program and the cost at (818) 426-5034. Before and after the school year, they can be contacted at (818)368-3231.

Creative Kids (An outside provider on campus) in Room 24: After-school care

Creative Kids offers after-school supervision for kindergarten through fifth grade at a cost. During the school year, they can be contacted directly to inquire about the program and the cost at (818) 378-6378 or email [email protected].

There will also be periods throughout the school year for your child to participate in free after-school enrichment courses. Certain courses have specific age requirements and families can enroll their child on a first come first serve basis.
